The serial number on one is 9119 so there were at least 9119 of these guns made. It is hard to find out how many of them are left due to the fact that they're about 129 years old. Sep 16, 2015 Q: I recently purchased a shotgun from a friend that I would like your help with. It is a Ted Williams-edition Sears, Roebuck 8c Co. 12-gauge shotgun, Model M200, 2% in., serial number P21XXX. It is stamped 'Made in USA' and 'No 273.515020.' Mar 30, 2007. Leawo prof. media 7.7.0 for macos. The barrel has Ted Williams Model 100 on it. I have never found a good source for house brand serial numbers but I would venture a guess that the Ted Williams product at sears was mid to late 60's,early 70's. Sorry i didn't see he stated model 100 so i guess this is the winchester 100 semi-auto. Winchester 1200. Relabeled as the 200 for Sears. Usually priced around $200 in the condition that your photograph indicates. Nice gun for a house gun. Not bad for upland hunting. Make: Ted Williams (Winchester built for Sears) Model: 100 ('94) Action: Lever; Serial number: V66193; Finish: The bluing is in fair condition. We see much of the original bluing in great shape but there are some rust spots over all. Caliber: 30-30; Barrel Length: 20' Bore Condition: Excellent - clean and shiny with sharp rifling.
I have a Sears Model 100 (a Ted Williams 94 made for Sears) serial number: V160XXX.Anybody know how to date this thing? Thanks in advance.I had forgotten about Teddy Baseball and the Sears connection with Winchester. He was one of my heroes, and I've always liked the looks of the Winchester 94. Maybe I'll find one in the shop after hunting season. But I digress. A search on this forum found a link to a site that gives dates of manufacture (Savage 99 - go figure). Anyway, I put in your serial number as ending digits 001 and 999 and both came back 1982.Link isThe Old Guy.

The wood is unmarked and is as it left the factory. There is a black metal pistol grip cap with a silver colored medallion.
The black ring around this grip cap has a flat spot towards the left front. There is a still pliable Ted Williams signature brown ventilated recoil pad with black and white spacers. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad. The stocks rate in about As-New overall condition.Type of Finish: Blue Barrel, Black Alloy ReceiverFinish Originality: All OriginalBore Condition: The bore is unfired.
There is no erosion.Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The exterior of the barrel may appear dull in the photos due to the anti-corrosion protectant that is covering it. The left side of the receiver has a mark on it from where the top edge of the forearm rubbed during shipping and storage and several other small rub marks received while in the carton.
About 1 ½” above the trigger housing pin a small circle that may appear as a wear spot in the photos, but is actually a round pin with three splines. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about As-New condition.Mechanics: The action functions correctly, we assume. This shotgun has not been assembled since it left the factory. We did not assemble it for fear of marking it.
We have not fired this shotgun.Box, Paperwork & Accessories: A cardboard factory box with an end label describing this particular shotgun is provided. The bottom of the carton has two places where green adhesive has left residue and the end label has some folded edges. There are places where the carton has been compressed and a 1 ½” tear at the top left corner of the lid.
The box rates in about Fine condition for having been made in 1966. Inside is the wrinkled factory anti-rust paper, a Sears Gun Guarantee (with folded and worn corner), a Sears Hunter’s Pocket Guide (with a rear cover that has partially been in contact with other papers and shows two distinct colors,) an NSSF Hunting and Shooting Sportsmanship paper that is worn around the edges and a Sears Model 200 Slide Action Shotgun Ted Williams Owner’s Manual that is slightly bent from storage. The paperwork as a whole is in about Very Good to Fine condition. Our Assessment: This is about as close to New-In-Box as it gets, if we could document that fact, instead, we are confident in stating its condition as being Excellent to As-New.
The original red cardboard tube used to prevent forearm movement, Owner’s Manual, accessory papers and anti-corrosion wrapping paper are all still present and included. This Ted Williams brand pump shotgun is really a pretty much deluxe Winchester Model 1200 with a factory installed variable choke.
